1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using PadelRanks you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please uninstall the app. By signing in to the Find a Match feature, you additionally accept the Find-a-Match-specific rules in §6 below.
2. Description of the service
PadelRanks is a free app that gives access to padel rankings, tournaments and club information across 18 federation-backed countries (Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, Moldova, Hungary, Finland, Ukraine, Estonia, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Italy, France), an optional Playtomic tournament catalogue covering 60+ further countries, and a Danish "Find a Match" community.
PadelRanks reads from three independent public data sources: Rankedin (rankedin.com), FIP (padelfip.com) and Playtomic (playtomic.com). PadelRanks is independent of all three and is not an official product of any of them.
The Find a Match feature uses Supabase (supabase.com) to store user accounts, posts, comments and "I'm in" joins. PadelRanks is not affiliated with Supabase, Apple or Google beyond using their published services.
3. Use of third-party data
The data displayed inside PadelRanks is owned by the respective providers (Rankedin, FIP, Playtomic). You must comply with each provider's own terms when using their data via PadelRanks:

- Playtomic terms: playtomic.com
4. No warranty
PadelRanks is provided "as is". We make no guarantee that:
- The app will always work without errors.
- Data from Rankedin, FIP or Playtomic is correct or up-to-date.
- The app will always be available.
- Any post, comment, "I'm in" join or other Find a Match content will remain available, accurate, or free of objectionable material.
Use the app at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss, damage, missed match, or interpersonal dispute arising from use of the app or from interactions with other users via the Find a Match feature.
5. Your conduct (whole app)
You may not:
- Use the app for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to circumvent security mechanisms.
- Use the app in a way that harms Rankedin, FIP, Playtomic, Supabase, Apple, Google or other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
6. Find a Match feature rules
"Find a Match" is a place to organise informal padel matches in Denmark. By using it, you agree to the additional rules below.
6.1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to create a Find a Match account. The app shows an in-app age confirmation at sign-in that you must explicitly tick before Apple or Google authentication proceeds. This is higher than the Danish digital-consent age of 13 (GDPR Article 8(1)) and is set deliberately to avoid processing the personal data of younger users without parental consent. Apple's and Google's sign-in flows additionally enforce platform-level minimum age requirements.
- You must be physically located in Denmark when you sign in. We perform a one-time location check at sign-in to verify this.
- You must use a name that other users could reasonably use to recognise you in person at a club. We do not require your full legal name, but obvious impersonation is prohibited (see §6.2).
6.2 Content rules
You agree not to post, comment, or otherwise submit content that:
- Is sexual, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit.
- Contains hate speech, slurs, threats, harassment, or content targeting a person or group based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.
- Constitutes bullying, doxxing, or stalking of another user.
- Promotes violence or self-harm.
- Is illegal under Danish or EU law (including but not limited to: defamation, incitement, illegal advertising, fraud, sale of regulated goods).
- Impersonates another real person.
- Is spam, repeated identical content, or bulk solicitation.
- Contains links to external websites, contact details intended to drive traffic off-platform, or any form of commercial advertising. (The whole point of Find a Match is to find a match — not to advertise rackets, lessons, betting sites, or anything else.)
- Infringes anyone's intellectual-property rights.
- Reveals another person's private information without their consent.
The app enforces parts of these rules automatically (no external links, no obviously sexual language). The remainder is enforced by us, by you (via reporting — see §6.4) and by Apple's / Google's own platform rules.
6.3 Limits and moderation rights
- Each user may have at most 5 active posts at any given time.
- Posts automatically expire and are deleted 7 days after creation.
- We may remove any post, comment, or account at our sole discretion if we believe it violates these terms or otherwise harms users — without prior notice and without an obligation to refund anything (the app is free).
- We may suspend or permanently terminate access to the Find a Match feature for users who repeatedly or seriously violate these rules.
6.4 Reporting objectionable content and abusive users
If you encounter a post, comment or user that violates §6.2 or otherwise concerns you, please contact us at Juliancilea@gmail.com with the post text and (if you can) the display name of the author. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and to remove offending content promptly. You can also block individual users from the bell-icon settings sheet inside the app, which hides their posts and comments from your feed.
6.5 Posts are user opinions, not ours
Posts and comments are written by users. They do not represent PadelRanks's views. We do not pre-screen all content. We are not responsible for what other users say, do, or follow through on. Meeting strangers from the internet to play padel is fundamentally a real-world interaction — exercise normal judgement, meet at a public club, and trust your instincts.
6.6 Your licence to us
By posting content via the Find a Match feature, you grant PadelRanks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the Find a Match feature. This licence ends when the content is deleted (by you, by us, or via the 7-day auto-expire). You retain ownership of your content.
6.7 Account deletion
You can delete your Find a Match account at any time from inside the app (Find a Match → bell icon → "Delete account") or by emailing Juliancilea@gmail.com. Deletion removes your account record, posts, comments and "I'm in" joins from our database. Deletion is final.
7. Age rating
PadelRanks itself contains no objectionable content (the rankings, tournament and club parts are a read-only display of public federation data). The Find a Match social feature is, however, restricted by our terms to users 16 and older — see §6.1 for the in-app age confirmation that gates Apple / Google sign-in. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising any use of the app by minors, and we encourage anyone signing in for a minor to read §6.1 first.
8. Changes
We may modify these terms. We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Denmark. Disputes are settled in the Danish courts. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under your country of residence.
